Kess — KE43056490 | Ferrari Meera S Michelotti (1983)

A bespoke, one-of-a-kind automotive anomaly, the Ferrari Meera S was crafted by legendary Italian design house Carrozzeria Michelotti—marking one of the very last coachbuilt specials completed by the studio before it ceased operations. Commissioned in the early 1980s by a prominent member of the Saudi royal family (Prince Saoud bin Fahd Al Saud) and named in honor of his wife Meera, the car was constructed atop the chassis of a Ferrari 400i. Featuring dramatic, angular wedge styling typical of 1980s concept cars, it boasted pop-up headlamps, split side windows inspired by aviation canopy design, individual wipers on the side glass, and a pioneering in-cabin CRT monitor fed by a rear-facing camera instead of a conventional rearview mirror.

Concealed beneath its razor-edged hood lies the factory 4.8-liter (4,823 cc) quad-cam 60° V12 engine sourced from the 400i. Managed by Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection, the naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder powerplant generated 315 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 392 Nm (289 lb-ft) of torque. Paired with a GM-sourced 3-speed automatic transmission and fitted with a bespoke dual air-conditioning system to cope with harsh desert climates, this ultra-rare four-seater luxury grand tourer achieved a top speed approaching 240 km/h (149 mph), standing as a unique chapter in bespoke Ferrari coachbuilding history.
