The Fiat 15 Ter, produced between 1913 and 1922, was one of the first widely used Italian motorized utility vehicles, both for civilian and military purposes. This sturdy omnibus served as a coach, ambulance, and municipal fire truck. It played a key role during World War I and in the 1920s as public services modernized, helping to motorize both passenger transport and emergency response, gradually replacing horse-drawn vehicles.
Fun fact: some municipalities proudly displayed their new Fiat 15 Ter at local parades, as owning such a multipurpose motor vehicle was seen as a true mark of progress!
This historic vehicle is faithfully reproduced in 1/43 scale by RIO.
