M4 Modelcars is an Italian, artisanal and family-owned manufacturer of model cars, specializing in 1:43 scale vehicles, all made in Italy. The company, based in Pesaro, was founded in 1990 by miniature car enthusiast Marco Grassini and his family (Marco, Mariella, Michele, and Manuela). M4 manually supervises every stage of production with trained staff, and focuses on creating rare and hard-to-find models for the market.

M4 produces under different brands:

ART MODEL: cars from the 40s/50s/60s

BEST MODEL: cars from the 60s/70s/80s

RIO: a historic brand founded in 1962, acquired by M4 in 2004, which prevented this important name in model making from moving to Asian manufacturers.

M4’s philosophy is based on craftsmanship, expertise, and the rarity of their models, aimed particularly at demanding collectors in search of authentic and original miniatures, entirely made in Italy.
