GLM

GLM stands for Great Lightning Models and was founded in 2012 by a group of model car collectors, with the goal of producing highly detailed resin replicas.

​GLM models are mainly 1:43 scale, often built from more than 100 parts, and also appear in 1:18; they are sealed resin models with fine printing and photo‑etched details.

​Production is largely hand‑crafted, with each skilled modeler only able to complete a few cars per day, which results in naturally limited runs.

​The range focuses strongly on prestige American cars (Cadillac, Lincoln, Packard, Buick and others), but also includes selected European luxury or niche vehicles, both classic and modern.

​In the marketplace, GLM is often described as a brand name used by Matrix, offering a similar level of detail and targeting serious collectors, competing with brands like Stamp and Goldvarg in the resin US‑car segment.
