The McLaren M19A was entered at the 1971 Canadian Grand Prix by Team Penske for American driver Mark Donohue. This Formula 1 single-seater was designed by Ralph Bellamy for McLaren, powered by a Ford Cosworth DFV engine. It was renowned for its characteristic "Coke bottle" shape and innovative suspension system. Mark Donohue achieved a remarkable performance by finishing 3rd in his very first Formula 1 race.
