Reference: AutoCult 11021-2 — Manufacturer: AutoCult (1:43 scale, limited edition resin model)
This detailed scale model replicates the historic 1924 Škoda Sentinel steam wagon. Produced under license from the British firm Sentinel Waggon Works, these heavy-duty commercial vehicles were built in Pilsen by Škoda starting in the mid-1920s. Prized for their immense reliability, durability, and cost-efficiency during the post-WWI liquid fuel shortages, the Sentinel was powered by a coal- or coke-fired vertical boiler driving a two-cylinder steam engine through a heavy-duty chain drive.
Crafted with AutoCult’s hallmark attention to historical commercial vehicles, the replica faithfully captures the imposing cab layout, vertical boiler stack, exposed steering gear, and wood-paneled flatbed cargo area. Resting on heavy solid rubber tires and showcasing finely rendered drive chains and chassis details, this early workhorse represents a foundational chapter in Central European transport history and Škoda’s commercial vehicle heritage.
