AUTOCULT 04045 Skoda Rapid OHV Prototyp 1938

The Škoda Rapid OHV Prototype 1938 represents a rare and significant step in Czech automotive history. This model marked Škoda’s technical modernization with a 1.6L OHV four-cylinder engine producing 42 hp and an impressive top speed of 110 km/h. The Rapid OHV stood out as a sporty sedan ahead of its time, with reasonable fuel consumption (about 8L/100 km), reliability, and elegant design. Its aerodynamic shape and equipment level placed the Rapid OHV among the most advanced cars built by Škoda before WWII.
