Esteban Ocon, born September 17, 1996 in Évreux, Normandy, is a French racing driver. Coming from a modest background, he began karting at a young age, winning several regional and national titles. After impressive results in junior series—including the 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship and the 2015 GP3 Series—Ocon made his Formula 1 debut with Manor Racing in 2016. He then joined Force India, served as reserve driver for Mercedes in 2019, and became a full-time driver with Renault (later Alpine), capturing his first Formula 1 win at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix. After several seasons with Alpine, Ocon joined Haas in 2025.
