The Chenard & Walcker no.10, driven by Raoul Bachmann and Christian Dauvergne, took part in the very first edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1923. Despite challenging weather conditions, the car achieved an outstanding result by finishing 2nd, right behind its sister car (no.9), thus securing a historic one-two finish for the brand. The race was run over 24 hours, with car no.10 covering a total distance of 2,140 km. This feat launched the legend of Le Mans endurance racing and highlighted French automotive excellence at the beginning of endurance competition.
