The Cooper T51 #46 driven by Henry Taylor competed in the 1960 French Grand Prix at the Reims-Gueux circuit. Starting from 13th position, Taylor delivered a strong performance by finishing 4th, one lap behind race winner Jack Brabham (Cooper-Climax). He finished ahead of Jim Clark and Ron Flockhart, both driving Lotus-Climax cars.
