SPARK S2330 Porsche 908/3 n°7 Targa Florio 1971

The Porsche 908/3 No. 7, driven by Jo Siffert and Brian Redman and entered by the Gulf/J.W. Automotive team, took part in the legendary 1971 Targa Florio, one of the most challenging and historic road endurance races in the world. Although Siffert and Redman had an outstanding record and the 908/3 was ideally suited to Sicily’s twisty mountain roads, they were sadly forced to retire from the race after an accident and did not finish. Victory went to the Alfa Romeo 33/3 of Vaccarella/Hezemans, as Porsche was unable to repeat its previous year’s triumph.​
