Lando Norris drove the McLaren MCL39 #4 at the 2025 United States Grand Prix in Austin. For this race, the MCL39 featured a special livery with additional white elements. Norris was involved in a turn 1 crash in the Sprint Race with his teammate Piastri and retired, but in the main race he finished 2nd after overtaking Leclerc late in the race. This result contributed to his ongoing championship fight with Piastri, Norris leading the drivers' championship after Austin.
