The SPARK S4827 scale model is a historic replica of the #5 Lotus 49 driven by Canadian racer Eppie Wietzes at the 1967 Canadian Grand Prix at Mosport Park. This car is significant for competing in the very first Formula 1 Grand Prix held in Canada, with Wietzes piloting a third factory Lotus entry alongside legends Jim Clark and Graham Hill. Although his race ended in disqualification for receiving outside assistance in the pouring rain, this model celebrates a golden era of F1 and the debut of the revolutionary Ford-Cosworth DFV engine integrated into the chassis.
