Spark presents a high-detail 1/43 resin scale model of the legendary John Wyer Automotive Engineering #6 Ford GT40 Mk I (chassis P/1075), powered by the 4.9-liter Ford V8 engine as driven by Belgian legend Jacky Ickx and British driver Jackie Oliver at the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans. Sporting the iconic sky blue and orange "Gulf" livery, the car started from 13th on the grid after Ickx famously walked slowly across the track to enter his car in protest against the traditional "Le Mans-style" running start. In one of the most thrilling and legendary finishes in motorsport history, Ickx held off Hans Herrmann's Porsche 908 by mere meters at the checkered flag to secure a sensational 1st-place victory, giving chassis P/1075 its second consecutive win at Le Mans.
