Spark — S7746 | Ford Electric Transit SuperVan 4.2 No. 153 — Romain Dumas (2nd Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2023)

Jointly developed by Ford Performance and STARD, the SuperVan 4.2 is an extreme evolution of the iconic commercial van, extensively re-engineered to tackle high-altitude racing. Shedding nearly 900 lbs (400 kg) compared to the SuperVan 4.0 and powered by three electric motors producing 1,400 horsepower, it features a massive rear wing and body revisions generating over 4,200 lbs of downforce at 150 mph.

Driven by French hillclimb legend Romain Dumas behind the wheel of car #153, the spectacular all-electric machine took on the 101st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2023. Clocking a rapid time of 8:47.682 up the mountain, Dumas secured 2nd place overall (and 1st in the Pikes Peak Open class).
