The ultimate development of the record-breaking Group A Delta dynasty, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale "Evoluzione" (affectionately nicknamed "Deltona") featured aggressively flared box fenders, a wider track, a ventilated bulging bonnet, and an adjustable roof spoiler. Powered by a race-tuned 2.0-liter 16-valve turbocharged inline-four producing approximately 300 horsepower delivered through an advanced permanent four-wheel-drive system, it powered Lancia to a historic sixth consecutive World Rally Championship Manufacturers' crown in 1992.

Carrying race number #5 and wearing the iconic Martini Racing white-and-stripes livery, this car was entrusted to rising Italian talent Andrea Aghini, navigated by co-driver Sauro Farnocchia. Tackling the grueling mixed-surface tarmac and gravel stages across Liguria and Tuscany, Aghini delivered a scintillating drive, holding off illustrious teammates Juha Kankkunen and Didier Auriol to claim his maiden WRC triumph with 1st place overall (Race Winner).
