Reference: Troféu DSN414 — Manufacturer: Troféu (1:43 scale, die-cast model, DSN series)
This precision die-cast scale model replicates the assertive Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 #63 entered by the Egon Evertz K.G. outfit at the grueling 1976 24 Hours of Le Mans. Serving as a premier naturally aspirated contender in the Group 5 division, this thoroughbred racer was powered by Porsche's proven 3.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine equipped with mechanical fuel injection, pushing around 330 horsepower. Wearing an authentic period competition livery with bold #63 racing numbers and technical sponsorship decals, the car was shared by the all-German driver pairing of Heinz Martin and Hartwig Bertrams.
Tackling the legendary 13.640-kilometer Circuit de la Sarthe during an edition headlined by the factory Porsche 936 prototypes and the brutal new turbocharged 935s, the Martin / Bertrams duo executed a disciplined, trouble-free race. Relying on the bulletproof endurance of the naturally aspirated Zuffenhausen powerplant amidst heavy attrition across the 24-hour marathon, both drivers maintained an uninterrupted, measured pace through the Mulsanne Straight and sweeping Porsche Curves. Their perseverance paid off under the checkered flag, securing an impressive 9th place overall finish and taking 4th place in the Group 5 class. Crafted in Portugal by Troféu, this model highlights the wide rear fender flares, competition wheels, race-spec interior, and the iconic "tea-tray" rear spoiler with integrated cooling intake.
