The Porsche 356 took part in the 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans, entered by the Franco-American team Emme. Competing in the 1100cc category, it demonstrated reliability and performance, although it was forced to retire after 18 hours due to engine trouble. This participation contributed to Porsche’s growing reputation in endurance racing. It is reproduced by SPARK at 1/43 scale.
