The Porsche 910 No. 166, entered by Porsche System Engineering and driven by Vic Elford and Jochen Neerpasch, competed in the legendary 1967 Targa Florio, one of the most demanding races in the World Sportscar Championship. Thanks to their skill and the reliability of the 910, Elford and Neerpasch finished 3rd overall in this 51st edition held in Sicily. That year, Porsche achieved a historic sweep, taking all three podium places with different 910 cars.
