The Gardner/Hahne Ford P68 at the 1968 Spa 1000 Km represents Ford's ambitious attempt to exploit prototype regulations. Featuring innovative aerodynamic design by Len Bailey and a powerful Ford Cosworth V8 3.0L engine developing approximately 420 horsepower, this car demonstrated remarkable potential by securing pole position. Unfortunately, as often with the P68, mechanical fragility thwarted its ambitions: the Gardner/Hahne crew had to retire due to electrical failure. This iconic car is faithfully reproduced by Tecnomodel in 1/43 scale.
