Spark presents a high-detail 1/43 resin scale model of the stunning Jean Kerguen #1 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, powered by the 3.7-liter inline-6 engine as driven by French team owner Jean Kerguen alongside countryman Jacques Dewez (racing under the pseudonym "Franc") at the 1961 24 Hours of Le Mans. Featuring the sleek lightweight bodywork designed by Italian coachbuilder Zagato, the car qualified 18th on the grid. After driving a steady and competitive race hovering near the top ten, the duo was unfortunately forced to retire during the 21st hour due to an electrical/engine failure.
