Spark presents a high-detail 1/43 resin scale model of the factory BMW Motorsport #1 BMW V12 LM, powered by the 6.0-liter atmospheric V12 engine as driven by German legend Hans-Joachim Stuck, British touring car star Steve Soper, and Danish icon Tom Kristensen at the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans. Developed in partnership with Williams Grand Prix Engineering, the prototype qualified 6th on the grid. Unfortunately, severe wheel-bearing vibrations forced the team into a premature retirement after just 60 laps to avoid mechanical damage.
