Manufacturer / Reference: SPARK S6549 — Maserati 450S Zagato Coupé #1 24H Le Mans 1957
Spark presents a high-detail 1/43 resin scale model of the factory Officine Alfieri Maserati #1 Maserati 450S Zagato Coupé, powered by a formidable 4.5-liter V8 engine as driven by legendary British driver Stirling Moss and American racer Harry Schell at the 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans. Featuring aerodynamic closed-cockpit bodywork designed by Frank Costin and built by Zagato, the car qualified 2nd on the grid. After fighting near the front in the opening hours, the duo was unfortunately forced to retire during the 4th hour (completing 32 laps) due to a rear axle failure.
