LookSmart — LSLM156 | Ferrari 330 P4 No. 21 (SpA Ferrari SEFAC — 24 Hours of Le Mans 1967)
Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful race cars ever built, the Ferrari 330 P4 was engineered by Mauro Forghieri to reclaim endurance racing supremacy from Ford. Powered by a 4.0-liter 3-valve V12 producing 450 horsepower, it blended stunning aerodynamic lines with razor-sharp chassis dynamics.
Entered as a lead factory works car by SpA Ferrari SEFAC under No. #21, this Spyder variant was shared by Italian star Ludovico Scarfiotti and British legend Mike Parkes. Pushing hard for 24 hours against the massive 7.0-liter Ford Mk IVs around Circuit de la Sarthe, the pair drove a flawless race to secure 2nd place overall, anchoring Ferrari's memorable double-podium finish at Le Mans in 1967.
