Developed for top-tier privateer entrants aiming to challenge Ford's dominance, the Ferrari 365 P2 featured a torque-rich 4.4-liter V12 engine producing 420 horsepower. Clad in updated, low-drag Drogo bodywork for the 1966 season, it combined lightweight Italian handling with impressive top-end speed along the Mulsanne Straight.

Entered by Luigi Chinetti’s North American Racing Team under car #18, this 365 P2 was shared by American driver Masten Gregory and fellow countryman Bob Bondurant.
