Spark presents a high-detail 1/43 resin scale model of the factory BMW Motorsport #2 BMW V12 LM, powered by the 6.0-liter atmospheric V12 engine as driven by Italian racer Pierluigi Martini, German driver Joachim Winkelhock, and Venezuelan star Johnny Cecotto at the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans. Developed in partnership with Williams Grand Prix Engineering, the open-top prototype qualified 11th on the grid. Mirroring the fate of the sister #1 car, severe wheel-bearing vibrations forced the team into a safety-driven early retirement after completing 43 laps.
