Reference: Spark SB565 — Manufacturer: Spark Model (1:43 scale, resin model, Spark Belgium national series)
This collectible scale model replicates the Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cup (964 generation) #27 campaigned at the 1991 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Competing under production-based Group N / Carrera Cup regulations, this German GT machine was powered by the spirited 3.6-liter air-cooled naturally aspirated flat-six producing around 260 horsepower. Sporting an authentic period competition livery with official event graphics, the car was piloted by a standout international lineup featuring Brazilian young star Christian Fittipaldi (en route to the International F3000 crown prior to his F1 debut) alongside Dutch racers Marcel van Vliet and Rinie van de Velden.
Taking on the demanding 6.940-kilometer Ardennes circuit, the #27 entry engaged in fierce class battles against potent touring cars and GTs, including BMW M3 Sport Evolutions, Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, and rival 964s. Making full use of its rear-engine agility through Eau Rouge and stability down the Kemmel Straight, the trio displayed strong pace during the early stages of the Belgian marathon. However, the unforgiving nature of 24-hour endurance racing took its toll, as mechanical trouble forced the car into retirement. Released as part of Spark's dedicated Belgian series, this miniature boasts superb craftsmanship, featuring authentic Cup-style wheels, visible roll cage details, competition ride height, and sharp period decals.
