The Porsche 919 Hybrid no.2, driven by Romain Dumas, Neel Jani, and Marc Lieb, won the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans in dramatic fashion. The fight for victory went to the final moments when the leading Toyota suffered mechanical failure just minutes from the finish. The no.2 Porsche crossed the line first after 384 laps, delivering Porsche’s 18th overall win at Le Mans. This edition stands out as one of the most dramatic in the history of the race.
