A true pocket rocket of late 1970s and early 1980s rallying, the Peugeot 104 ZS took full advantage of an ultra-short wheelbase, featherweight construction, and a tuned 1,360 cc four-cylinder engine built for competition. Exceptionally nimble and quick through tight directional changes, it was an ideal weapon for conquering narrow, slippery Alpine hairpin bends.

Carrying race number #47, this 104 ZS was piloted by French rallyman Pierre Toujan, navigated by co-driver Annick Toujan. Tackling challenging Alpine stages coated with patchy ice and freezing asphalt against far more powerful machinery, the crew delivered a disciplined and consistent performance to cross the finish line in a solid 18th place overall.
